Relaxing. Wildlife always present on the water.
This camping area was ok. Very out in the open though. Ideal for people with camper trailers or motor homes. The lake is beautiful, the area is clean and the staff are wonderful and caring. They also offer free firewood.
Management is friendly enough. Location on lake is nice. Problem is lack of rules about parking your fifth wheel parallel to the lake. Doing so, of course, blocks everyone's view. And if everyone does it you can't see the lake from your campfire. Also gas generators are permitted making me wonder what's different than camping behind McDonald's.
How it is there isnt a public area in the only lake in Alberta!
Showers and shuttle to festival this weekend should be nice place to camp
