Nice Four Points hotel. Would expect a standard experience here. Nice staff, great facilities, and some rooms have a view of nothing but trees. Will stay again!
Although this is a very nice hotel - modern, comfortable, well laid out, and with several great features, there are several annoyances. The good things are the great array of plug ins and charge points for electronics, the excellent black-out blinds, great bed and nice shower. However, the desk is much higher than normal, so you cannot use it as a desk - it is a fine counter, but you cannot sit at it to work. The bathroom is nice, but it would be better if you could hang towels near the sink or shower - the shelf under the sink is not convenient. Lastly, the breakfast buffet is very poor. It is good if you want coffee and eggs, but not so good for anything else. It would be acceptable if there was a menu option rather than just buffet, so you could get juice, oatmeal, cereal or fruit. Overall, just OK.
Clean service and a professional atmosphere. Our team stayed there for 2+weeks and they had a very comfortable stay. Pool and Hot Tub came in handy for sure!
When checking in I was upgraded to an one king bed suite with separate living room and kitchenette along with a full shower and soaker tub. This property is clean with a spacious lobby and a library room to relax. I would return if I return to Grande Prairie.
